Precautions for installing smoke co carbon monoxide detectors

Classification: NEWS Author: SUMRING Time: June 10, 2025

(1) The smoke co detector probe is mainly the detection element that contacts the combustion gas sensor. It is composed of a platinum wire coil covered with alumina and a binder to form a spherical shape, and its outer surface is attached with rare metals such as platinum and palladium. Therefore, care must be taken during installation to avoid breaking the probe.

(2) The installation height of the smoke co detector should generally be 160-170cm, which is convenient for maintenance personnel to carry out daily maintenance.

(3) The smoke co detector is a safety instrument with sound and light display functions. It should be installed in a place where the staff can easily see and hear it, so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time.

(4) There should be no strong electromagnetic fields (such as high-power motors, transformers) that affect the work of the instrument around the detector.

(5) The density of the measured gas is different, and the installation position of the indoor probe should also be different. When the density of the gas to be measured is less than that of the air, the probe should be installed 30cm away from the roof and directed downwards; otherwise, the probe should be installed at a distance of 30cm from the ground and directed upwards.

    1. What is fire detection and protection system?
That is fire detection systems. A fire detection alarm system (FDAS) is an alarm system that receives data on assesses and then responds to events reported by various fire detectors. Speaking of fire detectors such as smoke detector heat detector siren alam fire alarm bell etc. sometimes natural gas detector also included
    2. Do fire detectors detect carbon monoxide?
Yes fire detectors can detect carbon monoxide. We have both fire detector and CO alrm also offer smoke and carbon monoxide composite detectors. Both of these fire detector and CO alarm can save lives even although detector do so in different ways. fire detectors alert you to the presence of smoke and possibly fire in your home. Carbon monoxide detectors warn you to dangerous levels of carbon monoxide gas
    3. What are the advantages of your photoelectric smoke detector of fire detectors ?
All of our photoelectric smoke detectors use the new ABS+PC material and the PCB pass the 24-hour aging test according to strict production processes. These fire detectors are independent networked(wired). We all have what you need.
